Yes, this dishtowel works perfectly in combination with my tomatoe--my "Great Cosmic Tomatoe"!!!!!! Mostly I came up with the idea of using the towel for a border. I cut it up and sewed it together with some other squares, dyed the stripes with magenta acrylic paint so that they would be a little less bright white. And I sewed the border onto the quilt. I had a little bit of the dishtowel left so I laminated it to some matt board and cut little cirlces from it, then poked holes in them to make buttons, which became part of the embellishment. The Mom's Kitchen was perfect for adapting to Mom's Tomatoe Kitchen--the word Tomatoe was easily inserted. It was meant to be!!!!!!!
