Born September 28, 1950. Wooster, Ohio. Married to artist James Acord.

Teaching:

1981 – 1983 Graduate Teaching Assistant, Kent State University School of Art. Kent, OH.

1984 – present. Fine art painting, drawing, writing, and art quilting creativity workshops around the US at many universities, craft schools, symposia, and for private artist groups.

1995 – 2020. Turtle Art Camps, monthly week long intensive art workshops at our home studios. Stopped, due to Covid pandemic.

2014. Began teaching private weekly art lessons in my home for local children and adults.

2015. Began in January, teaching online freehand drawing classes for women, in a series called Lucky Drawing. Held in private Facebook group form.   Format is now (from mid-2023 and forward) 4 week sessions with 8 week breaks in between.  Before that, it was 4 week sessions with 2 week breaks in between. Classes are meant to be continued like yoga lessons, and are not cumulative.
