Stuff to Buy - Whammies and Angels

These Whammies and Guradian Angels are all quilted by hand and embellished and are mostly on black velvet, but I also make them as paintings instead, and for that, I paint on white fabric, giving a little different look to the piece.
Prices for Paintings, Quilts, and Quilted Whammies and Angels: My prices are based on the size of the work and the amount of labor I have to do to complete it in one of various ways. For example: A plain, unstitched painting that is 12"h x 16"w = 192 sq inches (12 x 16). Times $2 = $384., the retail price for the painting, the price you'd pay in a gallery or through a show. Multiply the 192 square inches by my $1.50/sq inch direct price for a painting = $288. to buy the painting directly from me. So a 12 x 16" painting would cost $288. to buy directly from me, not through a gallery, where it would cost $384.
The prices to buy the same painting quilted, or to buy a quilt from me, vary according to how much work I put into the piece. The most expensive way I quilt will cost 10 times what the painting itself would cost.
Summary, all prices do not include shipping, which will be added:
Painting: Square inches (length x width) times $2. retail/$1.50 my direct price.
Painting machine crazy grid quilted: Square inches times $4. retail/ $3. my direct price.
Painting moderately hand quilted, no beading: Square inches times $10. retail / $7.50 my direct price.
Painting complexly hand quilted, no beading: Square inches times $15. retail / $11.25. my direct price.
Painting complexly hand quilted and beaded: Square inches times $20. retail / $15. my direct price.
When I make a special customized painting as an order, to include the person and information about their life and personally, I charge a $150. flat design fee. People do this: have me make a piece about them or someone they know, and send me a list of things that matter in this person 's life, such as birth date, town, family members names, favorite colors, pets, hobbies, etc.
Hope this all helps. I would do a special personalized astrology sign painting for you any time, not just when I'm doing a series about that sign. And I take payments, up to a year, but I keep the work til it's paid for.

Note: All the Whammies shown below are listed at my highest price level, because they are all complexly hand quilted and beaded. But you can order a Whammy to be made less expensively by having me make it more simply. These are also all done with embroidery as the way of making the image, but I can also do them as paintings on whole cloth.
The Guardian Angel at left is approx. 6.75"h
x 5.65"w. The one on the right is really 6.5"h x 4.5"w.

Each angel or whammy will be an original design, so don't expect to order and receive a piece just like this one. That's way off from how I work. I draw each design anew, each time I work.

Guardian angels can be made for a specific person or purpose. The colors and imagery can be made to your order. Size and price can be customized. I also do Healing Goddesses, sans wings.

Here is the New Spring Line of Whammies, fresh from the Lucky Charm School (me, remember my other name, since I can't get most people to call me Susan, is Lucky. And I AM Lucky!)
A Whammy is simply a charm or talisman, packed full of affirmation or healing energy. Mine are all only for good things. I have no interest in bad energy or in hurting anyone. I believe what we send out always comes back to us, so we should be careful what we send out!
The Whammy can be for any hoped for result, such as prosperity, love, calm life, happiness, achievement, vitality, friendship, or peace. I will suggest to you symbols for your whammy's imagery, and you can help me think of them, too. I will put my affirmations and prayers for your Whammy into it, while I make it, and take it out into my medicine wheel, for extra grounding and good vibes.
The Whammies here are all embroidered and quilted by hand on fabric, with glass and gemstone beads.
Allow some time for me to make your Whammy. The hand sewing always takes a while, and I don't have any assistants helping make my work.
